The Bosk Take a Break
originally posted August 10, 2006
There are a few broad tharlarion pulling their share of the weight on the caravan headed south alongside the Olni, but for the most part it is bosk. Shaggy-haired, tempermental and proud, some of them possess horns that reach forward from the top of their head the length of nearly two spears. When bosk tire of your crop and the sound of the driver calling 'Hah!', there is little you can do to prevent them having their legs for a bit. You might dismount from the wagon box, setting aside the reins that you might have a chat with him.
"See here, fellow. I would like to get another ten or fifteen pasangs up the road if you don't mind."
Chances are the bosk will simply look up at you and exhale, blowing loose phlegm from their broad noses about the front of your tunic. Yes. It is better to let the bosk free of the traces when they have a mind to wander.
