A Reply to Samos of Port Kar

Day 10 of the Eighth Month 10,156 CA
Noble Samos,

Thank you for the prompt reply with respect to the return of my property. I have received the collar and copper wires in acceptable condition. Regrettably, one item that was entrusted to you was not returned. During the seizure, which I do not contest as legally and professionally executed, it was made clear that the girl, 'Naked Slave' or, as she was once known, 'Arjentia', was not for sale. As such, so there is no misunderstanding in the matter, your one copper tarsk, of the mintage of Ar, has been returned. Further attempts at recompensation, should they be forthcoming, will be similarly returned. It is my assumption that this is merely a misunderstanding between two businessmen and that you will, upon reading this, realize the miscommunication and make all reasonable attempts to reconcile the situation.
Please pardon the brevity of this correspondence. The reclaimation of goods is but one item on a rather busy agenda. With your assistance, I hope to have the matter settled with all appropriate haste.

Szol of Ar
