Into the Woods

We entered the woods north of Ar today. My brother, Varhan, has a cabin within this verdant forest. Before he embarked on travels far and wide, this cabin was enough respite for him. Often, he would go alone and make this his home for anywhere from a few hands to a few months. Sometimes longer. The Viktel Aria skirts these woods en route to Venna, but I like to cut through the well worn paths that run alongside the Vosk Tributary. It is nice, as well, to sleep indoors. There is a tub.
"If we pass through the woods to stay a night in the cabin, I could heat water for a bath," the girl Joy mentioned as if she had no preference to either route, merely stating the benefit of one option over the other in a neutral fashion.
"Bathing in the icy waters of the Vosk Tributary has not met your expectations of comfort?" I inquired by way of response.
I don't precisely recall her answer. It was late. I was of a mind to rape her within the small tent. It seems to me she backpedalled skillfully before being cut short with a beautiful gasp.
