Thoughts of the Libertine - Lost in Translation

What if it were not the General at all? What if it was simply about a girl? A barbarian. Would they watch? Would they care? I think they would. There are ways to make it compelling, no less so than the other idea I have (which I still hesitate to even commit to paper). It's all in the presentation and I am eager to get started. I will speak with a few musicians later in the day. Musicians are notorious late sleepers. Not at all fond of the early morning rays of Lar Torvis. I could call on them now, but the effort would not field responses approaching anything near to coherent.
I am not sure what I will need. Kaska players, assuredly. A czehar and kalika, perhaps. Maybe a flute player or two. The other commonality amongst Musicians, besides being notorious late sleepers, is their affinity for pleasures of a carnal nature. My finances what they are recently, I think I can convince them to accept payment in the form of temporary, if blissful, gratification with the assets I possess in the Anbar District. A few cases of the finest from the Ashel Vineyards should seal the deal. Perhaps I can be convinced to sing, I am not sure. The songs I am considering for this play are still unrealized, but one thing is certain. They will be crude.
